Anonymous Claims Responsibility for Attack on the Bolivarian National Intelligence Service (SEBIN)
On August 17, 2024, hacktivist groups, including Anonymous and Cyber Hunters, claimed to have gained unauthorized access to the systems of the Bolivarian National Intelligence Service (SEBIN) in Venezuela. The attackers threatened to leak data on Telegram as part of the #CyberHuntersOp campaign. However, it is unclear whether any data was actually leaked or what the full extent of the unauthorized access was.

Los Libertadores de la Patria (@LDLP2020) claimed that their primary target was SEBIN and that in March 2020 they destroyed its database and crippled its systems for weeks. The claim was publicly circulated in September and October 2020, but there is no official confirmation or independent technical verification.
