Hack of teleSUR’s Spanish-language website (telesurtv.net) by TeamHDP
The Spanish-language website of the state-run broadcaster teleSUR (telesurtv.net) was hacked on April 11, 2023, by the group TeamHDP, which posted articles with messages such as “LONG LIVE FREE VENEZUELA #HACKED BY #TeamHDP’ and demands for the release of political prisoners in Venezuela and Cuba. The network’s president, Patricia Villegas, confirmed the attack and stated that they regained control within a few minutes. The group compromised an account with publishing privileges on the website.
