On August 24, 2024, the hacktivist group Anonymous gained unauthorized access to the systems of the Bolivarian Army Savings Bank, a Venezuelan government organization. The breach, associated with the #OpTunTun campaign, resulted in the exposure of personal information, including first and last names and email addresses of Venezuelan military personnel. The threat actor publicly claimed responsibility for the attack on X (formerly Twitter) and distributed the stolen data via a MEGA file link.
