Anonymous Person Reports Attack on Corporación Venezolana De Televisión, C.A. (VTV)
On August 8, 2024, Venezuelan users and media outlets reported that the vtv.gob.ve website, operated by Venezolana de Televisión, had gone down, and Anonymous accounts claimed responsibility for taking the platform offline. No technical statement from VTV or independent measurement of the outage’s duration was found, but the outage was publicly reported. There is no evidence of compromised data.
